Women's Retreat Photography: Honoring One Frequency in Riviera Maya and Mount Shasta
It is one of the great honors of my life to photograph women’s retreats, and photographing One Frequency’s ceremonial journeys has been a gift I don’t take lightly.
In Riviera Maya, Mexico, we gathered around waterfalls, mountain pools, local culture and long tables of beautiful food. At Mount Shasta, we gathered in the pines, on the granite, along the creeks, and in circle. Different places, the same sacred thing: women remembering who they are, together.
I’m there as a witness. I move quietly, stay close, and let the moments come to me: foreheads touching in the water, smoke rising through the trees, a laugh that fills a whole circle. Sisterhood can’t be posed, and I never want to interrupt it.
