Grown Men Crying: Advertising Photography for GMC with Digitas

Digitas in Boston hired me to shoot grown men crying for GMC. It was one of the most fun jobs I’ve ever had.

The idea was men crying because they didn’t get a GMC truck. The photos ran in social ads and on a very creative Tumblr page for GMC.

Photographing real actors crying on cue

I got to shoot real actors in all kinds of crying situations. Some of them were so good they could do it on command. I still kept eye drops and onions in my camera bag, just in case.

Advertising photography for social

These were made for social ads, and I had so much fun doing them.
